MAHMUD DERVİŞ’İN ‘CİDÂRİYYE’ ADLI ŞİİRİNDE RİTİM VE ÂHENK / Rhythm and Harmony in Mahmoud Darwish's Poem ‘Jidariyyah’

Öz

Filistin şiirinin en önemli şairlerinden olan ve direniş edebiyatının öncüsü kabul edilen Mahmud Derviş, Modern Arap şiirinin önde gelen isimlerindendir. Şiirlerinde düşünceye, anlama, insanlığa, kalıcı değerlere ve estetiğe sürekli yer vermeye çalışan çok yönlü bir şair hüviyeti ile hareket eden bir edebiyatçıdır. Cidâriyye, Mahmud Derviş’in, ölümü ele aldığı en kapsamlı şiiridir. Bu makalede bahsi geçen şiir ele alınmak suretiyle, modern Arap edebiyatında son zamanlarda şiire âhenk vermek amacıyla ritmin en belirgin özelliği olan tekrar incelemelerine katkı sağlamak amaçlanmaktadır.

Mahmoud Darwish, one of the most important poets of Palestinian poetry and considered the pioneer of resistance literature, is one of the leading names of modern Arabic poetry. He is a man of letters acting as a versatile poet who tries to give place to thoughts, comprehension, humanity, permanent values and aesthetics in his poems. Jidariyyah is the most comprehensive poem that Mahmoud Darwish has dealt with death. The aim of this article is to contribute to the re-examination of the most distinctive feature of rhythm in order to give harmony to poetry in modern Arabic literature.
