YABANCI DİL OLARAK ARAPÇA ÖĞRETİMİNDE GÖRSEL MATERYAL KULLANIMININ ÖĞRENCİ BAŞARISI ÜZERİNDEKİ ETKİSİ / The Effect of Using Visual Materials on Arabic Language Teaching as a Foreign Language on Student Achievement

Öz

Kısıtlı olan ders araç ve gereçleriyle gerçekleştirilen yabancı dil öğretimi istenilen zamanda istendik başarıyı beraberinde getirememektedir. Derslerin motive edici ve tüm duyuları uyaran yardımcı ders araçlarıyla desteklenmesiyle ancak yabancı dil öğretiminde istenilen başarıyı elde etmek mümkün olabilmektedir. Bu başarıyı da ancak eğitim ve öğretimde kullanılabilecek materyaller sayesinde yapmak mümkün olmaktadır. Araştırma, öğrencilerin yabancı dil öğrenmelerinde kullanılan görsel araçlardan nasıl faydalanacağı konusunda yabancı dil öğretenlere kılavuz etme konusunda yardımcı olacaktır. Ülkemizde yabancı dil öğretiminin başarılı bir seviyeye erişmesi görsel materyallerin ders içeriklerine veya konulara uygun yeterince kullanılmasıyla doğrudan ilişkilidir. Araştırmamıza yönelik çalışma grubunu Malatya İli, Battalgazi ilçesi Kubilay Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi 9. Sınıfta eğitim görmekte olan 50 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Deney grubu öğrencilerin, kontrol grubu öğrencilerine oranla görsel materyal kullanımı sayesinde başarı düzeylerinde önemli ölçüde artış olduğu görülmektedir.

Foreign language teaching with limited course materials cannot bring the desired success with the desired time. It is only possible to achieve the desired success in foreign language education by supporting the lessons with auxiliary lesson tools that are motivating and stimulating all senses. This success is possible only through the use of materials that can be used in education and training. The research will help to guide foreign language teachers on how students can benefit from visual tools used in their foreign language education. Achieving a successful level of foreign language education in our country is directly related to the adequate use of visual materials in accordance with the course contents or subjects. The study group consists of 50 students receiving education in 9th grade in Kubilay Anatolian Imam Hatip High School in Battalgazi district of Malatya province. It is observed that there is a significant increase on success levels in experimental group students compared to the control group students by means of the use of visual material.
