DİNLERDE ÇEVRE TASAVVURU VE ÇEVRE SORUNLARININ ÖNLENMESİNDE DİNLERİN ROLÜ / The Concept of Environment in Religions and the Role of Religions in Preventing Environmental Problems

Öz

Çevre sorunlarının inanılmaz derecede arttığı ve neredeyse önlenemez boyutlara ulaştığı günümüzde, insanlık bu durum karşısında sahip olduğu tüm enstrümanları kullanarak bir çözüme kavuşmayı denemektedir. Kimi zaman hukuk kullanılarak önlenmeye çalışılan çevre sorunları, kimi zaman sağlık ön plana çıkarılarak önlenmeye çalışılmakta, kimi zaman da kadim öğretiler dahi bu alanda kullanılmaktadır. Çevre sorunlarının önlenmesinde elbette hukuk, ahlak, sağlık, töre gibi kavramların rolü küçümsenemez. Ancak son dönemlerde bu kavramların yetersiz kalması dolayısıyla, son iki asırda doğa söz konusu olduğunda dışarıda tutmayı alışkanlık haline getirdiği bir olgu olarak, insanoğlu dini öğretileri de kullanmaya başlamıştır. Bu çalışmada, dinlerin çevre ile ilgili olarak ortaya koyduğu temel ilkelerin neler olduğu ve çevre sorunlarının önlenmesine ne gibi katkı sağlayabilecekleri tartışma konusu edilecektir.

In today's world, where environmental problems have increased enormously and reached almost unavoidable points, humanity is trying to find solutions to this situation by using all the instruments it has. Environmental problems are sometimes tried to be prevented by using the law, sometimes by emphasizing the significance of health and sometimes even ancient teachings are used in this field. Indeed, the role of these concepts such as law, morality, health and custom in the prevention of environmental problems cannot be underestimated. However, due to the inadequacy of these concepts in the last two centuries, human beings have also started to use religious teachings, which they have made a habit of keeping out when it comes to nature in the last two centuries. In this study, the basic principles of religions regarding the environment and how these principles can contribute to the prevention of environmental problems will be discussed.
