An Evaluation of the Research on Classical Logic Subjects within the Scope of Logic Studies in Turkey

Abstract

In this study, the scientific publications completed on the basic topics of logic in the classical period in Turkey have been revealed. It has been determined that we have thinkers who are interested in the topics of classical logic in our tradition of thought. In this respect, it has been tried to show whether there is a logical tradition in our country through a thematic bibliography. The bibliography in question includes studies conducted in Turkey in logic and other fields related to logic. The sources of these studies include books, associate professorship, doctoral and master's theses, articles, papers and symposia. Based on the aforementioned thematic bibliography, the place of classical logic studies in our country has been determined. In this sense, solution proposals have been presented within the framework of logic to fill the gaps in the missing subjects. Thus, in our study, a discussion has been carried out on whether the research on the subjects of classical logic in our tradition of thought is sufficient.
